Snakehead Breeders In The Uk Snakeheads Wanted

looking to buy some snakes heads for a future breeding project,
anyone know where i can get some snakeheads or anyone know any snakehead breaders in the uk,
im in the essex east london area.

Seen quite a few turn up on aquarist classifieds recently so would try there first. If yoy can get into london wholesale tropicals stock some (bleheri) and otherwise wildwoods always has some nice, but very pricey ones. Might also be worth registering on snakehead forum as they are quite specialist.

The snakehead forum has been over run by spambots. Most of the breeders from there advertise on Aquarists classifieds. Type in channa into aquarists classifieds then go to the 25th add and contact that guy his name is Rob he is a TOP breeder. I have bought different channa from him numerous times and can highly recommend him.

I live in Canada and I saw snakeheads being sold in a fish store today that were about 3.5 inches

Too bad snakeheads are illegal here in Ontario, Canada. I understand how some of the larger species pose a threat to the indigenous fish, but some of the smaller species, such as the rainbow snakehead, should be legalized.
