Snails

When we got plants a few months back we had a visitor. Well this snail has now become roughly 6 of them. For the most part the are pretty small except for 2. We noticed eggs a few weeks ago. They have been doing a good job cleaning the tank but how fast do they multiply (have heard all the stories). They look black all around from what I can see. Thx

Any pictures you can take? What shape is the shell? Depending on conditions and snail species, they can mulitply almost exponentially or at a rate of one or two every few months.
