I appeat to have a thriving snail population in my 60L :)

They look like pouch snails. I am assuming they came in with my plants? Since they started growing and reproducing, my tank and plants have never looked so good! The watrer is sparkling clean (even when due a change) the light algea I get on my plants is no more and they are looking healthy and luscious (the plants that is not the snails lol).

So - would it do any harm to keep them? or at least some of them? and should I put some into my other two tanks?

They're harmless as you say, but they will nibble on plants if they run out of other food(at least mine do). They don't do much damage, just a bite here and there.

I would keep them. :good:

Excellent - thanks for that - think I am going to keep some of them at least :)
