Snails?

Is there a certain snail that doesnt breed like wild fire? I want to put snails in my tank but i dont want loads of them.

nerites, as the eggs wont hatch due to breeding cycle of brackish in the wild, and apple snails as the eggs are layed in large clutches out of the water so if you dont want them they are easy to remove.
