Snails

I've heard that there are fish that eat them. What are they and how big are they?

loaches and puffers are partial to snails, there may be others as well.
clown loaches are good for munching and they are community fish, but will eventually grow to around 12" and this needs to be planned for, they need big tanks. and the majority of puffers are brackish or saltwater, there are also freshwater species, but they're not recommended for a community tank at all.

oh, ok. I've got a brackish tank with Mollies and Guppies in it, but i didn't want anything that grew over a couple of inches, really.

Guess it's a DIY job
