Snails In Tank

Hi, I noticed that there are 2 snails in my tank. Does anyone have an idea how they got in there?
Is it a good or bad thing to have snails in the tank?

ummmm not good, not bad, but its not a great thing to have in your tank.it all depends if you like them or not i surpose.
i think you would get more replies if you put this in the begginers part of the forum.

Do you happen to have live plants in your tank? That is the most common way to get snails. I Like them, but they do get out of hand very quickly.
