Snail

ok i just got home and look inside my fish tank and i saw this tiny brown thing about a centimeter in size and it looks like it might be a snail and im not really good with snails but i knwo that there are bad ones and there are good ones.So can someone help me and assist me what i should do. thanks

i keep getting snails on the plants i buy....i just get rid of them as i find them...sometimes my fish find them...
