I have tried 2 types of snail traps but my Kahului loaches get in them and steal the bait

Try a lettuce leaf. That will attract snails as well. When it's covered with snails, you simply get the leaf out of the tank.

I don’t know yet how to post a new question. If I could, I would ask if anyone knows if Flying Foxes are snail eaters. I saw one today swimming with a baby snail in its mouth but I don’t know if it was eaten or released. I do have a snail problem. Tried a lettuce leaf but they all fell off when I tried to remove it with my tongs; don’t like sticking my arm in the tank.

Place a small plastic cup on the bottom of tank. Place bait inside. When snail are feasting on bait place your net over the mouth of the glass and remove the cup. No snails can escape. Or buy several assassin snails.

I got some but they haven’t been very active yet. Also I haven’t seen my Kuhli loach for weeks now he’s flying round the tank like a red arrow
