Fishless cycling now for just over 2 weeks.

Noticed today 2 very very tiny snails not sure what to do about them or why they have turned up.

Just b4 I noticed em I put some stress zyme in could that be the reason.

Advice please as I don't want a snail invasion

Cheers :shout: :good:

if you dont want snails start crushing them or taking them out the tank as soon as you see them
they will have been in the gravel or on the plants thats usually how they make it in to my tanks courtesy of plants alive no less lol
scot :)

Check the species guide in the invertebrate section. If they're trumpet snails, these are generally desirable in a planted tank. Ramshorn snails breed slow enough to be easily controlled and make the best cleanup crew you can ask for. If they're pond or tadpole snails, start crunching them - once they're established, they're a pain to get rid of. A group of loaches (research their sizes ahead of time - clown loaches are the most common anti-snail species, but they will grow a foot long and need a very big tank) will keep them in check, but also prevent you from using easily controlled species as a cleanup crew.
