I put my Female Betta Darya in my community tank because she was always so unhappy in her own five gallon tank, and she is much happier now and none of the current residents bother her... They are too busy looking for food or popping out babies! But on to the real question, my community tank has a bunch of snails (Just the little kind, thanks a lot LFS >.<). And she is sooo busy eating them, she's never hungry for her pellets. Are the snails an ok Diet or should I really try and get her to eat a pellet now and again? Thanks in advance :)

id leave her because she is eating.Though its not the best diet so try her on some live/frozen food occasionaly and some pellets.

i would think that the pellets would have more of the specific nutrients and vitamins that bettas need than a snail would. i don't know how healthy it is to have a betta that only eats snails.

I got some live Bloodworms from the LFS the other day and she ate those too. And she's almost out of snails to snack on so soon it will be back to her pellets :)
