I'm seeing more and more of these little snails appear in my tank all the time, i crush em as much as i can but i'm getting tired of it.

Is there some sort of water treatment or snail killing fish out there?

You can buy some loaches to eat them, skunk loaches worked well for me but they get a bit aggressive. You can also put a lettuce leaf in there and pull it out after the snails gather on it.

The snails will only reproduce to fit the food supply. When they first appear in a tank, there might be some amount of accumulation for them to feed on, but eventually they'll only be getting what food your fish don't. Reducing feeding and removing what you can with lettuce or cucumber should really be enough. Once their population is under control, they serve a useful cleanup function. They're better at it than most fish people get for that job.

Agree with Corleone here, I recently had a trumpet snail infestation, due largely to what I believe was enthusiast overfeeding by a friend who was fish sitting for me. On my return I cut right back on the feeding and used lettuce leaves weighed down over night to remove the excess the next morning. I have a heavily planted tank and snails (in moderation) are actully VERY usefull, they help aggitate the gravel and are a great cleanup crew. On mass though they can be quite unsightley.

You could always try one of these snail traps, I have not tried them so I cannot comment on their effectiveness, see link below;

You could always sell them :) Many people need snails for their loaches to eat and also dwarf puffers/figure 8's etc.

any puffer will eat snails....buy one for about 8-10 USD leave him in the tank for a couple of days and your snails will be gone

return him to the store for some store credit?? thats what i did

Though keep in mind a great many puffers will also rid your tank of all those pesky fish.
