I've notice some small (and I mean minute) white 'worms'(?) on the inner glass of my tank - I think they came in on some plants I bought recently - do I need to be worried? They look much like the really fine, white hairs you get on some floating plants long hanging down roots... I wiped them off with an algae cleaner and they floated off into the water... where my glowlight tetras 'seem' to be eating them...

Sounds like planaria to me, do a quick forum search. They're harmless.

It does indeed sound like planaria, which is nothing to worry about =)
It's also quite likely your tetras are eating them, seeing as many fish love to have them as a snack! Don't worry, it won't harm your fish at all =)

They however appear in aquariums that are being overfed usually, so you might want to keep an eye on how much you feed your fish. It's best to have a no-feeding day, all your fish will survive this, don't worry. They can easly go up to 2 weeks without food. Try having 1 day a week on which you don't feed your fish, or perhaps feed them every other day.
