Small Tank Lighting?

Guys I have a 35ltr BiUbe tank and currently use the halogen lamp that came with it.
I've just added a couple more plants today to brighten it up and give the gang a little more interesting
habitat but i'm concious that there may not be the best of lighting in there.

Can anyone point me in the direction of some good additional lighting for this tank that isn't too
weighty on the wallet.

I have a small compact fluorescent desk lamp over my betta tank and that seems to get the job done fairly well. And a CF floor lamp over part of the main tank to provide extra light for the plants.
