Fish Fanatic
Hi Everyone,
Just felt like I needed to have a bit of a moan.
I have been on this forum for quite a while, and although not a huge poster, I enjoy reading other peoples posts, looking at other people’s setups, and helping out where I can, with the little knowledge I have.
I had a fish death yesterday
My first in quite a long time, and felt like putting a post in the emergency section, to see if anyone may have any ideas what may have happened to my fish, apart from one helpful response, all I got was someone moaning at me about what tank I have, that I shouldn’t have the fish that I've got, bossing me around making me sound like I'm a terrible fish keeper.
As I'm sure many of you would agree, this was the last thing that I wanted to hear, and was not at all appreciated. I agree that yes I don’t have the biggest tank in the world, but it is my first tank, and like many when I started out (over 2 years ago) I didn't know half of what I do now. So I am aware that my angels will get big, that my clown loach is lonely, and the pleco that has died would have got much bigger! I am not an idiot!
I would love to have a massive tank, but at my present time I still live at home with my parents so I just do not have the space, I plan to move out next year, so of course will be getting something considerable larger then. I love my fish and am in no way mean to them for keeping them in the tank that I have.
Anyway sorry about that, I feel better now.
Thanks to all those who actually help. There is a difference between constructive criticism and just moaning at someone, about something that you hadn’t even asked about.
Thanks
Steph
