Yesterday i noticed on the top of the water in one of my tanks that there are small orange bug things with legs that jump about on top of the water, any idea what they could be???

Do you feed your fish bloodworm?
Both frozen and live bloodworm have a tendency to mature at times - I get this about once or twice a month :)

very occasionaly but not fed them for a while and its frozen if anything.

i do have a tub with eggs floating in the top of the aquarium also, will they be ok as these things are on the top of this water too??????

Not sure to be honest - I've never had eggs floating at the top of the tank alongside these things :/

the eggs arent floating on the top they are attached to a spawning mop, but will these be dangerous they are jumping about on top of the water there horrible!!!

this is the best i can do as they are so small!

Ask in tropical chats as there more members over there.
Do they attach themselves to the fsih.
Look for sores or pierce marks on the fish.
Only parasite I know with legs is fish louse, they are disc shaped and have legs, but don't think they are orange in colour.

no , i can only see them on the surface of the water and not in the water???

how do i move it over there??

Best to ask in tropical chat as quite alot of members have had weird bugs in there tanks.
