Small Java Fern Varieties

I'm looking to buy some java fern for my 28L betta tank in the upcoming weeks, but I'm afraid "regular" java fern will grow too large for my tank, which is only roughly 33cm wide, deep and high (rough estimates). I don't want it to be too dominating as it'll just go in the 'centre' of some wood (when I find some, that is...).

I've read conflicting info on the web about "mini" varieties - anyone have any further info? Do such species exist?
