Small Fish/big Fish

Just a quick one.... I'm thinking about getting some bala sharks for my new tank..

What size fish would you say is the smallest you can put with them without them being eaten? I know they are supposed to be peaceful fish, but does that mean they won't eat small fish (I'm assuming not)?

Does anyone with bala's keep small(ish) fish with them? And if so, how small?

I know people that have had them with all sorts, and no problems....

Neon Tetra's, Harlequins etc,
I don't see why they shouldn't be ok....

Yeah, I know someone that has had them for a couple of years with rasboras, danios, cories, and bleeding heart tetras. Also his tank is 7 foot long.

jus so ya kno balas need a 6ftx2ftx2ft aquarium atleast altho some members think even thats too small for when there fully grown.

Lol.. It was a joke sillies!! I think my floor would fall through if I had a tank that big! Either that or I'd need to buy a castle Does sound nice though... Imagine what you could have in it!! It's over 500 gallons of water!

Iroc... You have some uber nice fish in your uber nice tanks If that's what lights of that wattage do I'ma definitly go for one of those

That's a good point Flame.. Maybe I should call my landlord and ask them to concrete the floor?!? I'm sure they'll do that nice and quick after having to wait a year and a half to have the leak in our ceiling fixed!!

When I build my own house though.. I'll make sure there's at least two rooms with concrete floors!
