Small 3g Tank For Betta

This is my tank and betta Nyron, got him a couple of days ago but want to completly change the inside of the tank as i dont really like the look of it, i really like tall grass type plants, but what i have in there is the only thing i could find also think i would rather have sand as the gravel i have looks rubish, with any suggestions could you please send links to where i can buy the things?

Thats a friggin' sweet tank, brosef. I wish I had a tank like that. Chrismas is going up!!! The blue shark is outstanding. ALMOST LOOKS REAL! The natural colored gravel works wonders also! Are those real plants on the right (Remove the fakes from the left, AWEFUL (except, nice pottery!)) What kind of background is that? Is that one of those expensive 3D ones? I also like the rock with the corals! Natural freshwater look! One last thing. Water level is a bit high (lower it to prevent your Piranha from jumping out in the event of a flood.)

Wow, exact same tank as me, doing the exact same thing as me. Here is the tank with some rocks and dsand as substrate. WHat heater do you have in yours?

i just got mine for 15 pount from pets at home got a filter with it but havn't used it, also dont have a heater as of yet but water stays fine in my room. where did you get the lid for yours? mine doesnt ahve one and need one before i can put more water in the tank, think im also gonna use some sand for the substrate in mine where can i buy rocks to put in the bottom? and im thinking of getting some java moss for it aswell if anyone knows where i can get some

You room must be hot! I got mine from P@H too, it came with the lid? The rocks i have were also from pets a home, at the ornament section beside the bogwood.

I saw some java moss for sale in the fish tanks themself at P@H. Try there.

its 3g hes got lots of space filled it up to top today when i was changing water, mine didnt come with a lid which is a pain lol, made one from the cardboard bottom thing it was on lol, i think im gonna just go with fake plants as i dont have the time to look after real ones, going to order some fake hair grass, anyone know where i can get some?

Have you thought about going for a natural look? Fine gravel (real gravel, not coloured), maybe a nice rock instead of the shark ornament? Would be a nice change IMHO

yer million thats what im after i like the look of keithoms tank the way he has it, obvously not exactly the same but something like that is what im after is there any were i can get some good quality fake plants that would be ok for a betta? im from the UK

If you look for silk ones over the plastic ones - they're more realistic. I'm UK too, but haven't ever had falsies!

Do a google search, and just tick the box that specifies sites in the UK. I know eBay has them from time to time
