I have decided it is time to stop messing around and do it right.
This tank has gone thuw many changes put this is how it going to be and stay (probably)

The scape is coming along nicely (in my opinion) and will continue to progress as i get the plants i want.
I am going shopping at the weekend for some more plants (cripts, more hair grass and another carpeting plant)
As well i am going to be upping the number of Galaxies.
It is a 125 litter Fluval Roma running
Fluval 305 external
Ehiem internal for ciculation
flFuval heater
2 t5's
DIY c02 (inspired by AC)

Thats the stats here is the tank.

I will be doing a full write up about this soon and will be adding pics as it progresses
Enjoy. Comments welcome

I see no tank?

ahhh, now I do!

.....looks great, like the choice of plants a lot. Any chance you could list them?

Also, aren't you a bit wary of those Celestial Danios being an expensive snack for the angels?

your tank is coming along beautifully, nothing wrong with that. I am thinking of replanting my tank up in the new year, yours has just inspired me to do so even more. well done

Well i keep them pretty well feed and have never had an issue with them. Dont even really go near them.

Not sure on the full names, some one else can prob help me with that.
I have
dwaf Hair grass
selection of cripts
selection of swords
vallis
a bit of water lettuce
and Hydrocotyle verticillata I think
At the weekend i am hoping to pick up a load of Glossostigma elatinoides or Hemianthus callitrichoides Cuba to fill in some of the for ground and if i can find it some Marsilea hirsuta to brake up the larger areas or hopefully my new carpeting plants

I think i must have the Light - c02 - firts mix just about right as the plants look lush and green with great growth, I only had one little algea issue but that was only on the top part of the bog wood directly under the lights but i quite like the affect and my angels keep it in check :hyper:

One thing i have been meaning to ask is.
i have had to move the few peppered cories that i had from my other small tank into this one. Will they still be alright with a heavily planted tank. My main goal is to eventually have the hole floor of the tank filled with carpeting plants. I am guessing this will not be suitable for the cories as they normally stick to the bottom of the tank like glue. Now come to think about it will my Golden nugget pleco be alright

Great tank!
Cheers carlove, Its getting there. round 5 of planting will start on monday or maybe wednesday
Still needs lots of time effort and of corse money spending on it but i am defo happy with this tanks progress

O and i nearly forgot i have a few bits of Anubis on the bog wood but that has now been took over my the cripts

Rite then, as promised.
Some pics of the hole lot. I will apologise for the reflections in some of the pic cant be helped at this time of day and i am of to my parents house for the weekend so had to rush.

Again i apologise for the poor pics will take some better ones after the weekend before and after the rest of the plants go in
enjoy

Got the new plants 2day and have planted them. Unfortunatly the girlfriend took the camera away with her for the week.
I got my self a trio of cryptocoryne wendtii browns and a couple sprigs of pogostemon helferi. unfortunatly they didnt have any hair grass of any other carpeting plants so that was about it for the shop.
I also decided that the swords were really starting to dominate the tank so they have been uprooted striped down to a few stalks and replanted. I also just took 2 of them out all together. Hopefully be able to take some pics in the week and share the new additions with u lot. :good:

Good luck with the pogostemon! A beautiful plant but I have not been able to keep it well.
Took me a little time to get the plantlets rooted as there was not a great length to the roots, I think as long as they do not float away and become uprooted then they should do well. Not had anything die of on me yet only flurish :hyper: :hyper:

I also bought 6 more Rasboras to bring the shoal up to 21 strong will be bringing the number up to a round number 0f 30 when i get payed.
The coconut cave has gone and i have swapped the 2 koi angels for a truly stunning natural verity of Angel.

Think i will have to ad some camera phone pics later as i am 2 impatient to w8 for the GF to bring the proper camera home :hyper:
