ignore last comment, ive just checked on it and it is working, but very slow. like 1 bubble every 5 mins. how do you speed this up?

Your about Baking powder right. The reaction time of this method is very slow. You could try to add more Baking power but its gonna cost more then yeast isnt it..

With yeast and sugar you can make 2 bubbles per second

People hardly use Baking soda because the reaction time of it is slow and not effective
 
i'm not using bicarb im using the sachets you get with the co2 unit, the bubble is reaching the bottom and staying there for about 2 min.
