Slipery Film

Right was just moving my outlet head in the tank and it had this slipery film on it not sure what this is it dont leave any colour on my fingers just curious to what it is (this is on the cycling tank

any ideas

It's the developing bio-film most likely. Here's a great article explaining the development of bio-film, a little long winded, but full of good info.
