Slime In Tank

Hi ,
I am new to this hobby. A couple of days back i got a 24G aquapod. Its been a week since I set it up and the tank is still cycling. I saw some strange behaviour this morning, I can see the live sand turning yellow and also some of the live rocks are turning green. Is that algae / Slime ? I am kind of confused and need some help here . Is it normal to have it in early stages ?
What is the remedy ?
