hi guys
does anyone know of any lakes in the south of england which has natural slate or where i can buy bulk "off cuts" any help appreciated

slate dosent naturaly occour in lakes your most likely to find it in welsh hills.

try your local stone yards, and roofing merchants they should be able to point you in the right direction...

im an undertaker so im gonna try and wangle some from our stone masons i just hope its not treated they will let me know i suppose

if they are propper masons then it shouldnt be treated,

i work in the building game and i`ve worked with masons before so know a thing or two about stone...

I`m keeping my eyes open for a nice pice of plub slate i can dress up into a nice shaped cave for my fishys. either that or a nice bit of volcanig glass
