Skinny Platy?

I have a female high fin platy and she looks very skinny and acts weak. I see her eat but doesn't look like she gets bigger. She had a mate but every since he died she has been acting this way. Could that be the cause?

Perhaps. What is the male female ratio in your tank? Perhaps post a picture. Or post in the emergency section. Based on my rudimentary knowledge of parasites, could it perhaps be an internal parasite?
Also, water stats please.

Yeah, most likely internal parasites. Happened to most of my fish, I treated with a medicated food - they are all better now. (except for the ones that had the damage already done to them.... )
