I have 2 discus fish which i have had for about 4 months but i have noticed that they are starting to look a bit skinny. Why could this be? I had heard something about them needing to be wormed?? Can anyone give me any advise. Thanks :good:

2 discus is very few for them unless they are a breeding pair, they won't be feeling bold enough to eat anywhere neer enough to sustain themselves. They need a group of 5+ and a 50+ gallon tank :good:

Diet could be the issue also. What do you feed them? Discus need to eat more or less continuously, as they have a very short digestive tract...

Worms are a possibiblity, but IME only a problem with incorrect temperature. What is the temperature sitting on?

Water-stats for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and pH may also help :good:

All the best
