Skimming

I might be able 2 get a deal on a skimmer rated for 200gallons (US) .. I have 80 gallons (US) ... can you over skim? lol would it be a problem? bad good?

I don't think you can over-skim. If theres no more junk in the water to skim out, the skimmer will just not be producing any more foam. So I'd say: if you like the skimmer, go for it!

Yeah, its really really hard to overskim. Make sure the skimmer will fit in your setup and you should be good to go

Hehe, I mean like dimensions wise. For example, if your putting an in-sump skimmer in your tank and you have 24" of height in the sump area, dont buy a 36" tall skimmer
