I'm starting a large brackish tank in the near future and will have it run by a 30x15x15 sump.

i reakon the water line will be about 10inch high. My SG will be 1.010 or just over and after a skimmer thats short enough and up to job for my 120g tank.

Have you considered a home made one? Essentially it's just a tube arrangement with a water pump and an air stone... :dunno:

I know when I do my brackish I'll look into a home made one (but the you know how much I love my DIY :D )

never really thought of it,

are there any articles aorund on building your own, would love to make some savings, these new tanks are going to cost a bit to set up as it is.
