Sit back and relax.

See, I've been hunting for Aquarium software for ages, but, this just isn't the sort I'd want. Something to measure electrical cost, something to work out how much substrate is needed, something to work out the stocking, something to work out my planting problems and if plants are viable together etc.

This isn't it, but it does look good.

That sort of takes the fun out of things. I think half the pleasure in keeping fish is the "work" involved in research, monitoring, planting, husbandry etc. Then you can sit back, relax and enjoy the fruits of your labour :D

This calculator works out the capacity of the tank, the volume of the water, the surface area, the weight of the water, the wattage of the heating required, the lighting needed for various plant types and the maximum 'inchage' of fish.

It's not exactly what you're after, but it's darned useful.

One thing. Making a schedule for your tank would be easier than using that software. Don't download it!
