I wouldn't recomend the Angels with Betta(Siamese Fighter), with the angels flowing fins the betta will most likely mistake him for another male betta and harrass him to death

as for the shark...probably not, depends on what type you are looking at, although the Betta might do ok with a shark...Fishkeeper Molly & Sharks could advise you better on that combo

until my tetras shredded his fins I had my betta in with an albino sharkand a rainbow shark and they got on just fine. I am going to put angels in that tank now and they should be fine too. but angels and bettas won't mix. betta will get confused with the angels long fins and attack it and the angel will probably kill the betta it retaliation. angels are cichlids after all.

How do they survive in the wild is easy.......angels are a cichlid and they come from a different part of the world from bettas, and bettas are bred to have those flowing tails....in the wild they dont have them
