I just bought some kelp tablets since i just cloned my 55 gallon tank, and theres not enough algee growing for my fish, and i was given a small upside down cat fish as a gift, and i was wondering do sinking tablets generate amonia like flake food or anything else would? because it takes my little corrys a realy long time to eat them, and if i dont do it at night my other fish eat them.
also dose any one have any info on upside down cats? he is about as small as a cory right now but john said they get much bigger, i know there not agresive and fairly hardy, also it seems to not be intrested in kelp tablets.

Yes, they're just like regular food and if not eaten within an hour or two will start to pollute the tank. I break mine into small pieces. I have the small sinking tablets and they're still too big for my 7 corys to finish them.
