Hi all,

I have a 10 gallon tank sitting with a few fish in it keeping it cycled and i was wondering if there was a single fish i could keep in it. Only looking for 1 fish thats a nice size and not a betta.

Asked about yesterday and some people said a single Blue acara, some types of African Cichlid, any ideas?

what kinda tank set up would i have for a dwarf puffer?

As for the frogmouth catfish  wow i like that :) it says that it needs a large flat rock and live fish... Whats the large rock for and what fish could i feed it with, like neons? and how many once a week?

Thanks

Kev

Ive never known anyone to get a Chaca off of live foods, some will accept live shrimp and earthworms as an alternative to live fish but most will only eat small bottom dwelling fish, juvinile Cichlids and small barbs make the best foods IME as they probe the bottom of the tank looking for food continually which puts them in the right place for a burried Chaca to ambush them, the good thing is they only need to eat one good sized meal a week so a 1" covict Cichlid or barb is all you need. The rock just gives them somewhere to rest under after feeding when they can't be bothered to re bury themselves.

Bugger, Phoned 4 Fish shops today and 3 cant get them. One said she will make some calls tomorrow and let me know but mite take up to a month or 2 to get it... Dont mind if it takes a month as ill have some time to get the tank perfect :D

I was thinking more like one small fish, if you can get one to take earthworms then feeding every other day would be better.
