I have about 30 Molly fry in a 2.5 gallon tank. Majority of them are about a half inch. Not including tail. I want to get them into a bigger tank as soon as possible, so I'm thinking of just moving them to my 20 gallon while I redo their own tank.
In the 20 gallon there is one male and one female Molly, and 1 African Dwarf Frog. There should be 2 but one has been MIA for a few days now. I think he might've leaped out. Not sure.

My concern is the filter being too powerful, and that the frog might try to eat the fry. I read once that Guppy fry can be used as food for ADF's.

What do you think?

That is true ADF do not like any vibrations, so by putting the filter on the tank, you are really going to stress the SDF out.

Also, for the filter being too powerful for the fry, you can always take a piece of foam insert, cut a hole in it and slip that over the end of the filter, this will ensure that no fry venture up your filter...lol.

You *should* be okay by putting the fry in with the other fish, I think that the fry are big enough and should not be eaten.

One thing you can do, which is not that nice, is stick a couple fry in your bigger tank, and see how they get along with the other fish and the ADF.

Just a thought.
