You mean one of these? Looks like 70+ gallons and as with most puffers is aggressive, eats inverts, and is only suited to fish-only setups.

yea him pretty shure thats him im going to have another look again. But im planning on getting puffers not a spiny but a puffer fish tank small ones.

got to say the Sb puffers are the best looking puffers ever, i have to say that it was one of them that gave me the extra push into the salty side. love them so much sexy cute fish LOL  shame i cant have one :(

These Puffers are known for being aggressive, but most Puffers can be reef-safe to some degree. Diodon holacanthus, a similiar species, will not consume most inverts unless it is poorly fed.

ok so looking into the spiny box i might get one this is what im going to do tell me if this si ok. I have a 20 long all live rock set u prdy for fish its about 2 months old it has 1 damsel thats all i put. been in there for weeks. So is it ok if i get this spiny box hes small about 3 inch keep him in there than later start a bigger tank like the right size for him let it cyle for months keep him in the 20long then move him.

ok so forget every thing i said because after looking into them there care lvl on all care sheets i looked at are difficult creatures not to hardy stress easier. So iv picked a new one a procupine puffer care lvl is 4 stars on the marine center witch is easy five is the easiest. They get big so i plan on giving him a bigger tank when he gets older start another tank. Would this be a good idea.

SBP (spiny box puffer) are also very easy to keep so dont let that put you off. I would have thought that being in the same tank as a damsel would be asking for problems. frist off, if that damsel has been in the tank by it self, then it will feel that that tank is his/hers. and will not be happy when you introduce a new friend. frist thing i would do is get the little bugger out, and then replace with the SBP. the same goes for the porki. as said above puffers can be nasty. but normaly only pick on slow moving fish/inverts.

hope that helps rob :good:
