Hey all. I just got advice from Wuvmybetta to give my fish silver. What is this all about for fish? Has anyone heard of this before? http/www.familyhealthnews.com/49.html
This is the link she gave me to read up on it. It says a lot about human benefits, but nothing about fish, tho there is a small mention that silver is beneficila to "human, plant and animal" or something like that. Let me know soon ok cause Im getting desperate to get my 2 bettas healthy again!

Don't believe everything you read about silver being good. There are documented cases I have seen where people took colodial silver to help rid themselves of a cold and such. They ended up getting a disease that turned their skin grey. It is a very rare disease, but the silver actually became part of their skin. There is no way to cure it, and the people look like they just awoke from the dead. I wouldn't take the stuff and definately wouldn't give it to my fish. Just one more chemical that could affect them in the wrong way.
