Silver Shark With Red Spikes On Anal Gland

hello i have a silver shark with red spikes on anal gland any ideas i cant find anything about this??

Can you post a pic.
Do the red spikes look like worms and do they move.
Or does it look like nincemeat with white bits in it.

they don't look like either they just look like small bright red spikes i don't have digital camera at the mo so can't post a pic. could this be dangerous ??

If the red spikes are coming out of the anus it can be internal parasites like camallanous worms.

Are they coming from the body of the fish or are they blood streaks in the pelvic fins? Whatever they are, red spikes are not normal, but without knowing what they are, it is not possible to say if they are dangerous.
