One of my silver molls gave birth to about 40 babies two weeks ago and the're not growing. I'm feeding them liquifry and crushed flake 7 times a day. They are 2 weeks old but don't seem to grow. Am I doing something wrong?

from what i have seen with them there most stay small for a while and all a sudden grow real fast

also what size tank ?

some grow faster than other's don't worrie i had 2 that lived in main tank one is massive ( 2 months ) other is still real small looks tiny compared

I wouldnt feed them that many times a day. They will start growing soon I am sure of it. With feeding so many times a day I bet it is hard to keep the water clean. What else do you have in with them??

i have two separate fry from two separate mollies, one of them being silver, so all i can tell you is there there will be some that shoot up and grow, and some that grow slowly...only about two of my 8 total surviving fry are pretty big at three weeks old. keep going with it...also...what tank are you using for these fry? Are they in a netbreeder? I gave my friend 1 silver molly fry three weeks ago, and alone in a net breeder the thing shot up pretty fast, so it could be the area per fry.

Thanks for the replies everyone. The fry are in a 30 litre tank with 3 otos. I'm testing the water daily and stats are all fine, amm nil, nitrites nil. Doing 20% water changes every other day and there's not much waste coming out. Although I'm feeding often, it's only a minute amount at a time. Looking at a photo I took the day they were born, perhaps they have grown just a milimetre. Will plod on.
