My gouramie is swimming nose up and has been for 5 months!! I have no idea what the deal is. any Ideas

Can the fish maintain it's balance in the water, are scales sticking out like a pinecone, is the tummy bloated, try some shelled peas, what do you feed the fish.

I have had him for a year, he has not changed in appearence at all, he looks normal. I feed themTetraMin Tropical crisps. He just started doing this about 5 months ago , He mantains balance but straight up and down, he trys to get right every once in awhile but he can't stay that way for longer than a few seconds. I t is a mystery to me.

Either its swimbladder or not. I don't really know. Maybe's he's just wonkey.
