Was in LFS Today & Purchased Two 1inch Silver Dollars.
But I Have 3inch Red Pacu's in My 55 Gallon Tank Now.
Just Wondering How Fast Do the Silver Dollars Grow?

I think they grow an inch a month. You do realize that a full grow red bellied pacu needs something like 400 gallons don't you.

First off, I hope Pacu's will be okay to the Silvers, does anyone know?? SDs are not like the Pacus I know.

My 2 baby Silvers that were the size of Nickels 1 year ago are a little bigger than the top of a pop can now. So let's say 2 -3 inches a year for the first 2 or 3 years!

I was told by my LFS that they would be fully grown in a year but then they whent out of bussines so they may have just been stupid.

Hey don't worry about it!! It wasn't "BAD" info. it was just a little off! If that was the case, they would be about 2 feet long in 2 years! )
