Ok so some of my plants have died in spyros 4gallon, would u reckon he'll be ok with silk plants?

also in the girls new tank i was thinking of a mix of both. what do u think?

I should think silk plants will be fine with him. Lots of people use them with their bettas. Mixing would be fine too, though you will be able to clearly see the difference in real and fake when you mix them as you have real to compair against

We're just starting to mix the 2 in a couple of our tanks where the real plants seem to be dying off more quickly. It was just such a pain having to replace them so often and have all the muck in the tank where they were falling apart.

I swapped to silk yesterday as the real we dying and creating a lot of mess.

I use all silk in the betta tanks because I get sick of the dieing plants, well also I dont use a substrate in any of my betta tanks either so nothing to anchor them.

I have silk, plastic and live in my platy/molly/guppy tank upstairs looks ok to me.

in the small tanks im gonna use silk, just got a load 2day but in the girls big tank im gonna stick to real, as i dont have a problem with them dying off, the odd one does but the majority is fine :)
