Can I use common silicon to seal my tank? Or is there a certain one needed for fish tanks?
Thank you for your advice

There are some industrial silicones that are aquarium safe. Obviously any type you buy that says its aquarium safe on the label is a good product. Some silicones (notably those with antifungal elements) are not aquarium safe so you do have to be careful. Are you a US, UK, or other resident? We might be able to make reccomendations based on where you live :good:

HD now stocks aquarium silicone if you're in the states. Also any AGA dealer can get tubes of their silicone for you. If you really want to do it the cheap way, any 100% silicone will work but you need to make sure it is 100% silicone with nothing else in it.
