Any one have any suggestion as to what air pump I should go for to power my nano-reef protein skimmer? Above all it needs to be VERY VERY quiet. Output is not important doesnt need to be alot at all really.

quietest pump I ever used (and I've used loads!!!) was an airvolution by interpet. They do a mini version that has a low output, and going on the fact that I had the biggest and that was pretty quiet, I'd imagine the mini is as close to silent as you'll get!!! Use a good quality silicone airline, and try to avoid having even the airline resting on something that will cause noise, and that will help!!
Here is an article from PFK with a review of airpumps including the airvolution!

You see i have the AquaAir from Interpet, Its fairly noisy and its annoying me intensly, to the point that I am turning it off at night. I shall have to invest in a new pump before i add anymore fish..
