:( Ok,I came home the other day and found my tanank was full of ICK...UGH!!!! So I did a 50% water change and treated it with Wardley's Ick Away.I have treated it for 3 day's today and now I go to check on them and one of my Tiger Barb's color has faded really bad. What can cause this?Ick?TIA!!!!

He's stressed have you increased aeration as med and hign temp reduce 02 in the water, turn temp up to 30.

Yes,I added another pump and my temp is 76.My heater broke and I was expecting my new one today but I guess I want get it until monday....ugh. Thank's

O,by the way...did the ick stress him out or could it be the BULLY that is in there with him?

could be either, if he is the smallest or newest one of school, it is possible he is getting bullied. Barbs are pretty hardy when it comes to ich, but any fish can be a victim to it. Just give him some time and keep treatments up, as wilder mentioned, you really need to get that water temp up to speed up the life cycle of the ich into become freeswimmers.

:( :( :( I have lost 2 of my Barbs within the last few hr's.. :( I don't have a test kit. But my husband can test at his work if we new what the stat's were suppose to be.Can someone please help me where maybe I can save the last one.And before my Gourami die's.PLEASE!!!!

:S Now I just checked again and noticed the water is getting cloudy. What can cause this?I added a new heater today could that do it?Or the ick?I just feel sooooo helpless....I just want to help my lil guy's and don't know what to do.

Should I do a water change or something?

Well my husband just called me and my ph is low.It tested at a 6.7 and the clorine was 0.14.Whhat can I do to get it down?

The cloudy tank is a bacterial bloom due to the fact you have put a new heater in, as when a heater stops working the bacterial colony dies abit, and now you added a heater again at high temp the bacteria will mulitply again so don't panic.

As the low temp and meds have sent you into a mini cycle which shouldnt take to long to repair its self, the ph will alter with the mini cycle if the ammonia reading in then tank has risen, but it will righten it's self in a few days.
