Sick Tiger Barb

Found a tiger barb dead in my tank a few days ago and now one of the others is looking very pale today and his tail is drooping, any ideas what this could be??

What size tank and what are the water stats? How long has it been set up for? Have you recently added new fish?

Water tested fine, zero ammonia and nitrite, ph 7 as it always has been, tank was set up about a month ago, fully cycled as I had mature media from another tank, no new fish added

DId you see any symptoms before it died?

No symptoms at all, tank is 4 foot, other fish are 5 serpae tetra and 6 emperor tetra

I would do a massive water change, regardless of the stats. I had problems with my tigers, and a huge water change seemed to help a lot. I then did a smaller water change the day after. All fine now.

I will try that, also fed them some crushed peas as I was thinking it could be swim bladder

Sounds good. Do all of the fish seem to be doing fine now or are they stressed?
