Sick Platy

Hey guys so I’m new to this. I have a beautiful Platy named Marty and she is a little more than a year old. She seems to have a red wound/growth on the right side of her stomach and I’m wondering if there is anything I can do to help her get better. It is completely external and it doesn’t seem to be affecting her yet but it is getting bigger. If you have any advice let me know!

Can you post your water parameters for us, tank size, and a clearer pic if possible? Did the spot just appear or was it a wound first?
