Sick Platy

I have 3 platys and one of the females was bullying the male so i moved her to aother tank. This male has been very thin all winter and hasnt fattened up at all. He now has very clamped fins and cant swim very well at all. He only uses his pectorial fins to swim and kind of wiggles his body but doesnt get very far. Right now he is lying on the bottom of the tank. All other fish are fine, does anyone have an idea at what is wrong with him?

I would suspect internal parasites.
Have you noticed any flicking or rubbing? going pale? spitting out food? white stringy or mucousy poo? If so, get some internal parasite treatment. You should be using food and a tank treatment.

thanks i will move him to a QT tank and treat him. he does spit out his food and his tail fin looks a bit squint, i havnt actually noticed him pooing.
