Had a platy that was bullied by a male one. I have re homed the male and I thought the female was recovering well. However now she appears to have got very thin (ie her belly seems flat rather than rounded), and she seems to appear a bit twisted in shape, almost deformed. I thought she was going to die over night as she was on the floor of the tank and very still, but she was swimming around this morning?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Being skinny with a bent spine can be fish tb to internal parasites.
What does it look like when the fish goes to the toilet, long stringy white poo, or clear mucas poo.
Is the anus enlarged or red and inflamed.
Any worms prutruding from the anus.
I would end her misery to be honest as you can't mend a bent spine.

Also if she does have internal parasites she will infect the others.

She is still alive. Appearance hasn't changed. Spends a lot of time on floor of tank but swims around sporadically and is eating fine. She kind of has the appearance of a deflated balloon?!?!?

I guess she will not go back to normal? Should I keep her?

I agree with Wilder, no chance for your fish I'm afraid. Put her out her misery and save your other fish cos if she dies and they start eating her before you have the chance to get her out you'll have to quaruntine your tank permanently ie no fish in, no fish out til the current stock are all dead.
