Sick Platy

I have 2 platys one of each and the male has been unwell for 3 days. he's not eating, hanging at the top or right at the bottom of the tank but with no other signs of disease. The female occasionally tries to encourage him to swim. All the others are fine (4 danios, 2 albino corys and 2 zebra loaches) I've done daily water changes and the water parameters are fine. No nitite, 25 nitrate ph 7.5. Unfortunatly I cant move him, no other tank.
Any suggestions greatfully received!

if hes not eating thats not a good sign. it could be an internal bacteral illness.

He's looking mournful at the bottom of the tank. Fins are up though. The female just passed some white stringy poo, haven't seen his but then he's not eating.

i would get some anti internal bactera treatment in now, esp now you said about the white stringy poo,
if you are from uk you can use interpet no 9, or king british. hth donna.
