Sick Molly

Hey I am new to this froum but have a lot of q's.

I have a pair of black mollies and a pair of Orange cicle Mollies. I just got the orange cicle moLLIES TODAY.The male is seeming to die. If He dies will the female mate with the black molly male?

Welcome to the forum, Newbie2fresh1351! As Teelie said, your mollies would still mate.

Your male may be stressed from the move- it is possible that your water parameters are different from what the fish were kept in at the lfs. (There are some pinned articles somewhere on the site explaining water parameters, I think.)

Add a bit of aquarium salt to the water, if you have any. That might perk the mollies up

Thanks, the male died last night. What I was wondering was since the male died would the Orangecicle female mate with my male BLACK molly as well as the black molly female mating with the black male molly also?

They will all mate, they not racist and their genes are compatible. Just like humans
