Ok i have a 75 gal tank with live plants the following fish

1 x tiger loach
2 x catfish
4 x black widow tetras
3 x bueniseries
1 x male fighter
1 x female fighter
6 x dannios
6 x mollies
8 x platties

and a nursery net with baby mollies (waiting on another tank to finish cycling)

The problem is my black mollie gave birth about 2 weeks ago and now she has developed what looks like grey patches on her body it looks as if the black has dulled, she is also looking rather rigid with only her side fins flapping and seems to be stuggling with moving she is eating tho.
She was fine before giving birth but now seems ill, the fry she had are very healthy and active and my other fish all seem fine.

All water levels are spot on as i take water sample to pets at home once a week as even tho i use my own test kit i had a problem with one kit it stated my ammonia was fine when in actual fact it was very high so i like to be safe than sorry.

Could this be body fungus or something else?

Grey patches can be columnaris to parasites.
The only problem they can flick and rub iwth columnaris.
Any fluffy bits on the fish,.

Hi

My mollies and platties have been flicking and rubbing occasionally over the last 2 days.
The mollie i was asking about has died :( she passed away this afternoon after i took her to pets at home whom said it wasnt a fish illness (dumb gits) anyway i have examined her and she has alot of grey patches all over her body as if the scales have been rubbed off it doesnt seem to look very fluffy just very very slightly so.
I thought it might have been itch with what i was reading on various forums yesterday but did not want to risk treating if i wasnt sure.
What would you suggest is the best option to do treatment wise as pets at home are obviously no help they told me to buy some tonic and use that i have given 1 dose as stated and tommorow i was supposed to give the tank a second dose if she was still unwell but im unsure now.
There are a couple of mollies and platties that have been occasionally flicking against the caves and bogwood but i have not noticed the other fish doing this just the livebearers.
I do need advice as to what to do next as something killed her just not sure what i have not noticed any colour changes to the other fish just flicking but i do have fry aswell in same tank but in net and due to them being small i need to act fast if something is wrong as i dont want to loose them or any other fish if i can help it as even tho they are fish i did have a little cry as she was part of the family
Please if any1 can help or advise then please do as i cant trust my pet store they definatly dont have a clue and as i dont drive i cannot get to any other as they are well out of my area.

Sorry bless her R.I.P.
Grey patches and missing scales like peeling skin can be columnaris.
Its going to be hard as they can flick with columnaris aswell.
Is it only the fish with grey patches that are flicking and rubbing.
