I have a lab which to be honest has never looked right but i think its about time i did something about it.

Its always had a undercut belly you know like the ones you see i shops sometimes he eats well but never looks like he has eaten for weeks any ideas ?

do you think that he could be a she?
if its a she it could be holding, are you sure its a female?

I have vented him also he is eating well.

Its my boss of the tank a wild caught afra red top, dont know the full name i think it could be lions cove ?

If you have a fish that is eating well but has a sunken belly - it is possibly that he has at some point had a bacterial infection/gut infection (ala first signs of bloat) which although hasn't killed him or affected his eating HAS cuased internal damage that he is unlikely to recover from, that said he will be normal for the rest of his life, just always with a sunken belly. :good:

Is he a Cyno Afra Likoma ?
